One of the very first mixed-use, transit-oriented developments in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood will consist of 60 apartment units and 16,000 square feet of retail. This $25 million project’s proximity to the Division Blue Line train station will encourage residents to take advantage of Chicago’s public transportation, providing easy access to downtown, O’Hare International Airport, and everywhere in between.

1241 North Milwaukee is also pleased to introduce the states first Eco Bike Counter. See attached pictures.

Core Spaces office was a 7,000 square foot, 4th and 5th floor addition to an existing three story building. In addition to the base building upgrade, it consisted of all new MEP’s throughout as well as interior decorative stairs, wall cladding and millwork. In total it includes two large conference rooms, 14 private offices, a full kitchen/activity room and kitchenette. Three new skylights add light and warmth to the 5th floor open floor plan, and a new deck terrace provides sweeping views of the Chicago skyline.

River North

LG Construction was hired by Four Corners Tavern Group to completely demolish what was originally American Junkie, and transform the space into an upscale restaurant, bar, and nightclub. While preserving the back of house spaces, LG navigated the complications of modifying the existing second floor structure to add a central staircase and reworking all existing building components to fit the new design.
Working again with interior designer Studio K Creative, the communication amongst the project team was invaluable as decisions were made on the fly and existing building surprises were overcome. This successful team approach lead the project to completion without adding time to an aggressive schedule and allowed the client to meet private party commitments made prior to construction starting. The end result evokes an upscale Las Vegas nightclub experience in the heart of River North.
